The company

Producer of dairy products and ice creams since 1898

The origins of Rolland SAS go back more than a century, to the time when Yves ROLLAND, the current CEO's grandfather, used to collect butter from the farms around the village of PLOUEDERN.
In 1964, the third generation joined the family firm with the firm intention of developing the business and giving it industrial scope.
Several options for diversification were open to Yves Rolland and finally, the ice cream sector was chosen.
Since then, the company has continued to expand, always investing in the latest technologies and is today ranked as France's 3rd largest producer on the ice-cream market.
A steadfastly independent and forward-looking company, Rolland SAS's strategy is based on differentiation and innovation. As part of this approach, Lionel Rolland, a fourth generation Managing Director, has created the Innovation unit, a driving force behind new concepts for the product ranges of our distributor customers and private brands.
